The Bridge Street Clinic Initially trained as an Osteopath by the renowned Naturopath, Dr James Hewlett-Parsons, John Chapman became a member of the Osteopathic and Naturopathic Guild in 1967. Trained in Herbal Medicine and Homoeopathy within the same guild, was appointed resident Director of Studies for Osteopathy in 1968. Awarded a fellowship of the Guild in 1969, commenced a practice in Winchester in 1970. In 1991 was commissioned by Thorsons Publishers to write a self-help book for asthma sufferers - sold 30,000 copies worldwide, re-published twice more in 1993 and 1995. After thirty years of successful practice, John Chapman classes himself as a General Practitioner in Natural Therapeutics, emulating in some degree the image of the family doctor of old...
